Terms of Service

ClinchCV is an AI-powered resume analysis tool that scores resumes, checks ATS compatibility, and analyses job-specific fit. For any questions about these Terms, contact us at support@clinchcv.com.

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

The free plan includes a limited number of resume reviews for the lifetime of your account. A “review” unlocks AI analysis (scoring, ATS checks, and job matching) for a single resume; re-running analysis on an already-unlocked resume does not consume an additional review.

Paid (Pro) subscriptions remove these limits and are billed through our payment processor, Razorpay, on a recurring basis until cancelled. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

You retain all rights to the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload (“Your Content”). You grant ClinchCV a limited licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the Service — including sending it to our AI provider to generate analysis. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload Your Content and that it does not contain anyone else’s confidential information without permission.

The Service uses third-party AI models to generate scores, suggestions, and written content. This output is provided for guidance only, may contain errors, and is not professional career, legal, or hiring advice. You are responsible for reviewing and deciding how to use any output. We do not guarantee any particular hiring or interview outcome.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to reverse engineer it, circumventing review or rate limits, uploading unlawful or malicious content, attempting to extract other users’ data, or using the Service to build a competing product. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by ClinchCV and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding.

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. ClinchCV is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
